Cory has strong skills in CAD, mechanical design, and electrically interfacing to mechanical equipment. Cory was able to effectively apply his previous knowledge to independently come up with solutions for guiding the bed, making it's position adjustable, and for controlling it. Cory worked well independently, which was a significant benefit to myself. Cory was also proactive in contacting outside vendors and internal colleagues to ensure projects were progressing, which exceeded my expectations for an undergraduate student. Cory will do exceptionally well in whichever avenue he decides to pursue after graduation. He has the knowledge, work ethic, and communication skills to succeed, and I wish him all the best in his career!

Senior RF Engineer, Robarts Research Institute
Cory is a motivated and exceptional team player which was demonstrated by his diligence in completing all the different tasks assigned to him. He demonstrated creative alternatives to many of our mechanical problems and contributed to our growing success. In addition, he was tasked with electrical/software and firmware tasks outside of his role and put great effort into completing them. It was a pleasure to work with him and he has a bright future ahead of him.
David Burlington
Director of Hardware Engineering, Brickeye
Cory had a very challenging task, which meant he had to adapt creatively to the needs of the project and come up with his own solutions. He did an outstanding job in redesigning the electronics and (unexpected from the start of the project) many other parts of the robot. Cory dealt very well with working very independently and creatively.
Kerstin Dautenhahn
Director of Social and Intelligent Robotics Research Lab, University of Waterloo
Cory showed tremendous leadership in market research, design, and product development. His problem solving and analytical skills exceed his age and experience. Cory deserves an outstanding performance evaluation for the contributions he made in designing and developing the GermStopSQ Filter prototype. He has helped EnvisionSQ develop a new product offering, creating the potential for a new and meaningful revenue stream. Cory has been an exceptional member of our team. He has learned new skills quickly and has applied his existing skills very well.
David Wood
Manager, Research and Development, Envision SQ
"Cory was an excellent addition to our team and most certainly exceeded our expectations. It was a difficult term with the COVID-19 interruption, but Cory was able to adapt and work remotely and produced excellent work. He displayed professionalism in his ability to self supervise himself."
